MAYAMECTIN 19™ a broad spectrum, high-efficacy and low toxicity type of insecticide cum acaricide belonging to Avermectin group.
MAYAMECTIN 19™ is a water-soluble liquid formulation containing 1.9% active ingredient and is recommended for the control of bollworms in cotton.
MAYAMECTIN 19™ is an insecticide with stomach action and should be ingested by the larvae to be most effective. Affected larvae become paralyzed and stop feeding shortly after exposure and subsequently die after 2-4 days.
MAYAMECTIN 19™ has a rain-fastness of 4 hours approximately.
Its action mechanism is to intensify the effect of neurotransmitter, such as, glutamate and γ-amino butyric acid, make the latter lose function and disturb neurotransmission.
