MAYOJI 71 is a non-selective, post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual perennial, broad-leaf and grassy weeds belonging to Organophosphorus group. MAYOJI 71 when applied to foliage reaches the roots and rhizomes of the plant by the process of translocation, thus destroying the weeds from below the ground. It is especially effective against the difficult to control weeds.
Being a non-selective herbicide, MAYOJI 71 effectively kills all types of weeds. MAYOJI 71 is widely used in non-crop areas, open fields, bunds and water channels.
MAYOJI 71 kills the plant from the root within one to two weeks of its application.
MAYOJI 71 does not have any residual effect on the germination of any crop grown after its application.
MAYOJI 71 is also effective to kill the aquatic weeds efficiently.
MAYOJI 71 is easily biodegradable & non-volatile in nature.
MAYOJI 71 disrupts the shikimic acid pathway through inhibition of the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate (EPSP) synthase. MAYOJI 71 is absorbed across the leaves and stems of plants and is translocated throughout the plant.
