It is a broad spectrum and selective herbicide which contains 50% Atrazine active ingredient as wettable powder and rest adjuvants. It belongs to Chloro-triazine group.

Features

CAPRENO can be used both as pre-emergence and post emergence herbicide.

CAPRENO prevents the germination of both narrow and broad leaf weeds and also kills the germinated weeds.

CAPRENO controls the narrow as well as broad leaf weeds of sugarcane and maize.

CAPRENO is rapidly absorbed by leaves and roots of treated plants.

Mode of action

CAPRENO is a selective and systemic herbicide of Chloro-Triazine group. It works by inhibiting photosynthesis by binding with the DI protein site at photosystem II. It also inhibits the enzymatic activity in the targeted weeds. Lack of the photosynthesis results the death of treated plants.

Antidote

No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
