MAYOJI 41 is a non-selective systemic herbicide of Organophosphorus (Glycine and phosphonates) group, which inhibits the EPSP synthesis in weed plants.

MAYOJI 41 controls very effectively both annual and perennial weeds.

MAYOJI 41 is also used to control weeds in plantation crops, water channels, bunds and open fields.

Mode of action

MAYOJI 41 disrupts the shikimic acid pathway through inhibition of the enzyme 5- enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate (EPSP) synthase. Death of the plant may take from 4 to 20 days to occur. The sodium salt of glyphosate can act as a plant growth regulator and accelerate fruit ripening.
