GEHENA™ is a new generation Post Emergent, Broad Spectrum systemic herbicide of Pyrimidinyl benzoate group containing Bispyribac-sodium as an active ingredient for effective control of weeds in types of Rice cultivation i.e. direct sown rice, rice nursery and transplanted rice.
GEHENA™ controls major grasses, sedges and broad leaf weeds of rice.
GEHENA™ offers a wide application window from 2-5 leaf stages of weeds.
GEHENA™ gives freedom of need based application only when the weeds emerge.
GEHENA™ gets absorbed quickly in weeds and results are unaffected even if it rains after 6 hours of application.
GEHENA™ has a low dosage and is safe to the environment.
GEHENA™ is a selective, systemic post-emergent herbicide. After application, it gets absorbed by foliage of weeds and inhibits the bio synthesis of branched chain of amino acids. It also inhibits enzyme acetolacte synthase (ALS) and stop protein synthesis. Time of Application - 2-5 leaf stage of weeds.
No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
